Ayurveda, also called ayurvedic medicine, is the traditional Indian medical system. Ayurveda is an example of a well-organized system of traditional medical care, whether preventive or therapeutic, widely practiced throughout parts of Asia. Ayurveda is one of the few systems of medicine developed in ancient times that is still in wide use today.
